Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Healthy Budget, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Healthy Budget helps you track account balances and transactions, detect recurring bills, set budgets, and forecast your future cash flow. To do this, the app connects to your financial institution through Plaid using read-only access. The app cannot move money or make any changes to your bank accounts.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Healthy Budget. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your account.

Healthy Budget may offer optional paid subscriptions. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple App Store account and renew automatically unless cancelled. Your payment is charged at confirmation of purchase, and the subscription renews at the then-current price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID settings on your device. Except where required by law or by Apple’s policies, payments are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose.
• Access or attempt to access another user’s account or data.
• Reverse-engineer, interfere with, disrupt, or place undue load on the app or its infrastructure.
• Connect financial accounts you are not authorized to access, or provide false information.

Healthy Budget is a budgeting and forecasting tool. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, accounting, or legal advice, and nothing in the app should be interpreted as such. Forecasts and projections are estimates based on your data and may be inaccurate. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions. Consider consulting a qualified professional before making important financial choices.

Healthy Budget relies on third-party services — including Plaid for bank connections, Supabase for data storage, PostHog and Sentry for analytics and crash reporting, and Apple for app distribution and billing. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of third-party services.

Healthy Budget is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data, forecast, or projection it produces will be accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hardaway Labs LLC and its owners, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your use of (or inability to use) Healthy Budget — including any financial decision made in reliance on the app. To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim or US $50.

You may stop using Healthy Budget at any time and may delete your account and associated data from within the app at Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including disclaimers and limitations of liability — will survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Healthy Budget will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Your continued use of Healthy Budget after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
